Just an update here guys - we are on what we believe to be our final version of beta prior (stable candidate). We have begun on some front end changes to enhance our agent download/management page. Once those are complete, we will likely release to production. I would expect full release likely by 5/17.
Steven
Is it possible for the agent to have a tamper proof password? IE need a password to uninstall the agent.
Justin
This is awesome! Is there some way of requiring the site code or password before the user can close the app?
Mike Schroll
Please feel free to beta test our new MacOS Agent:
Branded DNSFilter MacOS Agent: https://download.dnsfilter.com/User_Agent/MacOS/DNSFilter%20Agent-Installer.pkg
WhiteLabel MSP MacOS Agent: https://download.dnsfilter.com/User_Agent/MacOS/DNS%20Agent-Installer.pkg
Please email support - at - dnsfilter.com with any issues/questions/concerns.
We'll be sending out a followup email to those who expressed interest in testing the MacOS Agent.
Some pending changes:
We'll likely replace the app icons with something more visually appealing
We plan to more tightly-integrate the TrayIcon and the backend service as far as having the ability to 'Pause' and 'Resume' the service through the TrayIcon.

Mike Schroll: That's great news. I already have it installed on my machine.
Is there a way to integrate the "Site Secret Key" into the package for deployment over client management systems?

Good news guys - our internal testing is complete. We will definitely be in touch this week (probably even Wednesday) with an official release for anyone wanting to test!

I am willing to test, on real Macs, if you need testers.

Just wanted to let you guys know that things are still going well. I have personally been testing this for almost two weeks now (as well as several employees). The agent is stable and has worked well. We are just tweaking some of the UI and fixing some minor UI bugs. We should be on track for a release, at least for testing, in the first half of March.
Matt
Ken Carnesi: Great!!! if you need a beta tester, I'll test it on my hackintosh.
Ken Carnesi
Matt: haha awesome - well that would be quite the edge case, so I think we'll take you up on that!
Ken Carnesi
stephen: Trying our best :) I hope so too. We're having a sync meeting about it today.
stephen
