Configurable Fields in Block Page Notification Emails
Minetta Gould
Block page notification emails currently contain limited, generic context, making them difficult to route or parse automatically—especially for MSPs managing multiple clients from a single block page.
We'd like the ability to configure which fields are included in these emails, with support for at minimum:
- MSP/Parent Organization name— for routing to the right client in a shared support inbox
- Hostname and/or Username— to identify which device or user triggered the block
- Sender address— use the end user's email as the "from" or include it in the body for ticketing system auto-assignment
Even simple toggles or a customizable template would meaningfully reduce manual triage for MSPs and IT teams at scale.

Request for additional information fields in Block Request form
Blake Duhamel
I work for an MSP organization and across our deployment of roughly 8k agents the Block Request form has been working as expected. Over time though, we have discovered instances of a block request investigation where it would be useful for the following features in the Block Request Form. While I can understand that our current naming scheme of a short-code may not have been the best naming convention initially, I don't want to start manually re-naming every policy if it could be helped.
-(A) the host-name of the roaming client where the request came from if applicable
-(B) the organization the roaming client was either installed under or the organization that the referenced filter policy is located under.
Example situation for requested features:
During a recent block request investigation, the tech performing the investigation discovered that the roaming client appeared like it was installed incorrectly under a different organization based off the filter policy flagged. With no global way to search for a specific roaming client to see where it was, the tech determined that the best course of action was re-installing the roaming client which resolved the issue.

MSP Organization name in Blocked page email
Betsy
If a page is blocked for a client in an MSP organization it would be helpful if the name of the organization was also sent in the notification email. We want to use just one block page for all our clients and send the email to our support desk. it would speed up parsing the emails if the MSP organization was listed above the Network Name.
i.e.
MSP Oganization:
Network/Policy:
Network:

Block Page Notice Email Settings
Daniel
Provide the ability to add or pull from the Company information and add it to the summary for alerts when an end-user wishes to unblock websites. And/or use the end user's email as who is the sender of the request to unblock.
Currently, the alert is a generic summary line, and the email comes from a generic email address. I am unable to parse it to assign it the proper company in my ticketing system.

Hostname in Block Page Notice Email
Tobias Linder
I don't know if that would be technically possible, but it would be a great features to get the Hostname or the Username of the Roaming Client in the block page notice email.

I agree with this comment. Embedding basic variable in the standard page would be very helpful so that we don't have to come up with our own hosted pages that can handle this basic task.

Hi Betsy
We solved that in our environment by just always adding the Organization Name to the name of the Network Policy.

Add blocked site to blacklist via email
Matt
example workflow:
DNSFilter allows me to pick a unique email address @ a subdomain of yours, for instance [email protected]. (I would be able to change the first portion as needed).
I send an email to [email protected] with a website link in it.
DNSFilter works some magic and that site is added to my blacklist posthaste.

Add Client Variable to Email Subject Line
Donni Ugalde
When a customer reaches a blocked webpage and submits a request to whitelist, please add the client Name to the subject line. The client Name is already in the body so I think adding the same variable to the subject line would be an easy change. See what I mean here: https://share.protechsmsp.com/lluEXgx2
