Ability to save a filter configuration/preset. Alternatively the ability to configure a report that will send findings of filter (ex: last 24 hrs, blocked requests within the category malware, phishing, etc)

Hi Carson Cabrera! Good news—the DNS Query Log can already save your preferred view locally! Once you’ve set up the filters you want, head to Preferences → Save View. The next time you open the Query Log, it’ll default to that setup for easy exports or quick reviews.

If this isn’t quite what you had in mind, let us know—happy to keep the conversation going. Otherwise, we’ll plan to close this out in about a week.

Carson Cabrera: Good catch—and thanks for calling it out. Turns out we introduced a little ‘oops’ while fixing something else in the Query Log, and that accidentally broke the ability to save filtered views. Right now it only remembers columns and sizing, not filters.
The team already tracked down the issue and it should be a quick fix. They’re working on it now, and the save-your-filters behavior will be back in an upcoming release.
I’ll keep this post updated as soon as it’s fixed!
