Mac Roaming Client
December 13th 2022 macOS RC (v1.4.1)
A new version of the macOS Roaming client is being made available in the dashboard (Deployments -> Roaming Clients -> Install) for download and installation.
Improvements
- A user account will now be created when installing the macOS roaming client. This will allows administrators to assign policies when users are added to Deployment → Collections. This matches the capability that already exists in the Windows Roaming Client.
- Reduced the number of user password prompts (from 3 to 1) when installing the macOS roaming client.
Bugs
- Fixed an issue that was causing the roaming client logs to not exist on macOS Ventura (13).
- Fixed an issue that caused static DNS servers to not work correctly after roaming client install or machine reboot.
