December 19, 2023 macOS RC v1.7.0 Beta Release

Multiple Release Channels 🔔
A new version of the macOS RC is now available via the Beta channel. This version can be downloaded from the dashboard Deployments
 → Roaming Clients
 → Install.
 Additionally, your existing RCs can be configured to receive the Beta release via auto-update by modifying its Release Channel from Roaming Clients
 → Manage
.

Improvements 🛠️
macOS RC has been updated with improved compatibility when joining networks that utilize Captive Portals that require logging in or accept terms before granting access to the Internet (commonly seen with hotels, airlines, coffee shops).
Previously these networks could prevent DNSFilter from operating as excepted as resolution of the captive portal was intercepted. The RC should now intelligently notice when connected to such a network and allow local resolution to the captive portal and then redirecting back to DNSFilter resolution once the connection is established. 
We are continuing to gather feedback from the wide variety of captive portals and have seen some cases where the user needs to open the Safari browser and navigate to [captive.apple.com](https://captive.apple.com)
 before successfully redirecting. Please share any feedback if you experience difficulties connecting while running v1.7.0
