Any updates on this, or moving to a DNS MDM payload?

I see that competitors are skipping the client route and use the DNS Settings MDM payload (https://support.apple.com/guide/deployment/dns-settings-payload-settings-dep86469ba99/web) instead. That could be a more reliable option and would also solve the situation for Silicon Macs.

Hi admin. We love the idea of client-less deployments. Most of the competitors implement a DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) profile for the device. We are looking closely at this idea. Thanks for bringing it up. If you have additional feedback on the matter, feel free to respond.

Hi Mikey @DNSFilter
Just let me know in case you need someone to test out that new approach. We have 70'000 iPads and 30'000 Macs under management and so there is plenty of opportunity so we really appreciate more simplicity in the deployment process. Thank you in advance
