Improved Audit Logging
Joel
It would be helpful if there were more audit logs

This is a no brainer and should already be a standard feature. Yesterday we ran into an issue where we believed someone changed a Local Domain/Resolver config for a client and the only way we could figure out if/when/who was by contacting support who had to contact development. We got the info, but it should have been something we could have found ourselves in seconds, not waited an hour.

Expanded Audit Logging Beyond Policy Changes

Currently, DNSFilter's audit logging is limited to Filtering Policy changes via the Policy Audit Log, which makes it difficult for MSPs managing many organizations to track down who made changes and when issues were introduced.
We'd like to see audit logging expanded to cover a much broader set of dashboard actions — organization management, Local Domains/Resolvers, user/admin accounts, network and site configurations, and ideally any configuration change made in the dashboard. This would be a significant quality-of-life improvement for any MSP trying to maintain accountability across multiple techs and client organizations.

Implement Audit Logging for Non-Policy Changes
Brian Zick
My team recently discovered that the policy audit log only includes actions taken on policies and does not include roaming client or site configuration changes, or perhaps more importantly, changes to the universal allow and block lists.

FYI, I asked about admin activity logging recently and was pointed towards this FR here: https://dnsfilter.canny.io/feature-requests/p/improved-audit-logging

Mark Porter Thank you! I suspect that this request might get merged into that one as well.

LOG the "creation and deletion" of MSP Organizations
Jerry Ketterling
There does not seem to be a visible LOG within DNSFilter that allows one to audit the creation and deletion of MSP organizations. I am sure this is logged and visible to DNSFilter, but it should also be surfaced to the MSP organization via the MSP console.

Not sure where to add -- but it'd be great if audit logs could be exported to S3/SIEM as well.

User audit logs

It would be awesome to have additional audit logs for the actions done by users within DNS Filter.
Some items would include administrative actions, sign ins, policy changes, etc.
It would also be prudent to allow these logs to be exported to a syslog server and/or a SIEM/ Soar - above and beyond the current options.

Hi Adam, thank you for the feedback. I'm going to merge this one with an existing request. One item you mention (i.e. policy changes) does exist with the policy audit log - https://help.dnsfilter.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500008111441-policy-audit-log.

Mikey @DNSFilter: trialed it. Too complicated to get it all set up. End result looked like it would be good. And the large price may be worth it. Just could not devote the time to setting it all up while paying that price.
