Per-user Filtering
launched

This feature request is to build upon the per user reporting in the Query Log and give the ability to proactively filter based on the current logged on user.
Administrators will be able to set policies which apply to specific usernames. When DNS traffic is recognized from these users, DNSFilter will apply the appropriate policy settings to their queries. The policies for this user will take precedence over the policies assigned for the network.
As part of this feature, DNSFilter will provide a new report type in the dashboard that will allow admins to view DNS queries associated with a particular user.

A preview of per-user filtering has now been released. Thanks to everyone who voted on this feature.
You can now create user-based access policies which will apply to our Windows roaming client. Keep in mind that because this feature uses usernames, you must have GDPR turned off for compliance reasons.
If you would benefit from an Active Directory users sync with DNSFilter, cast your vote at https://feedback.dnsfilter.com/feature-requests/p/active-directory-per-user-reporting-and-filtering

Will this work on RDS Servers?

Would this require the roaming client to be installed on each machine?
