Allow partial string matches in the DNS Query Log "Search" box.

The "Search" for domain names in the DNS Query Log is too strict. Please make it match partial strings.
My work around is to download the DNS query log and then search off-line by using another program like Excel or a text editor.
Allowing partial string searches would be a real time saver for me.

Allow searching by Local IP in Query Log Tool

Scenario, suppose a dumb device like a PlayStation, Amazon Echo, Google Home, etc fails to work. These devices are just going to give a generic error like "no internet service" or network error. When I get that report from a user I wonder if it could be trying to look up something that dns filter is blocking. So I'd like to make a query for a certain internal ip during a certain period to see all of that devices dns request and whether they were allowed or blocked.
As it is, I can only hit query log for the last hour (hoping the user tried it and failed recently) and choose a domain. That makes for a very big file that takes your servers a long time to generate for me, and it hard for me to deal with once I do get it downloaded. At that point I can search for the lines that contain the internal ip address, and end up with a small managable file again.

Query Log: Allow Wildcard Searching
Nachman
Currently, you must search for the exact domain name in the Query Log. It would be useful to allow one or more wildcards when searching the Query Log. Examples:
*.cn
.facebook.

Display Policy Name In Query Log
Nachman
near each url it should display the policy that either allowed the url or that blocked it
when trying to block or allow a url that i see within the query log
currently i need to go to the deployments tab to check which policy that current user / site is under

We're currently developing a refreshed UI for the Query Log that includes improvements to Search and Filtering and includes a configurable UI to show/hide columns you're interested in. I'll be merging relevant Canny Posts into this item and will share updates when we'll have a Beta available, later in Q2.
Thanks all for your interest in this feature!

Agreed, we have to export and use .csv to search for sites using partial names. It would be nice to have the ability to look for text strings with one of the filters or query tools.

This is critical and with this I would add the server IP for when using NAT ips
